SFNP organizes a Faculty Development Programme on “Effective teaching strategies in nursing education” from 16th , 17th & 18th March 2023. The objective of this FDP was to nurture the philosophy of Effective teaching strategies and to identifying the best teaching strategies to sustain and promote nursing students’ engagement in academic and clinical settings has always been a challenge for nursing educators. FDP is intended to build the capacity of the young Faculty Members / Heads of department / Principal so as to facilitate its institutionalization in the Teaching-Learning System and other Academic Processes of the Institution. It is essential to provide a set of strategies for maintaining and enhancing the academic engagement of nursing Faculties.
Participants will be able to experiment with Effective teaching strategies and learning methods in Nursing Education.
Participants will be able to identify emerging Teaching strategies in nursing education.
Participants will be able to explore the New Era of Nursing Education.
The participants will be able to appreciate the challenges that teaching-learning methods and research face, as well as better prepare themselves for them.
